Yoga for Runners
Runners, especially endurance runners, are prone to any number of injuries through the sheer repetitive nature of the forces through their joints, muscles and kinetic chains.
A sports specific yoga programme is designed with an understanding of the runner’s biomechanics and the biomechanical demands of their discipline, so each programme is uniquely and realistically designed to fit in with a possibly already intense schedule.
Even if you have your own pre- and post- run stretching routine you can gain more benefit from using the techniques I teach such as performance breathing.
